Cocoon was founded by Paul — an NRI property owner who experienced, first-hand, the gap that this business was built to fill.
The Problem: No professional option existed
As an NRI with multiple properties in Kochi — including a villa left in the care of an informal arrangement — Paul experienced the anxiety every absent homeowner knows: the unanswered questions, the delayed discoveries, the knowledge that a ₹2 crore asset was receiving ₹2,000-a-month attention. Relying on relatives and domestic staff was unsustainable and placed unfair pressure on personal relationships. When Paul searched for a professional property management company that met the standard his home deserved, he found nothing. The market gap was not subtle — it was absolute.
